The glorious summer weather returned today, I wanted to make the most of the warmth and blue skies. But as I had to wait in for a parcel, I couldn’t go out and about. Instead I sat in my front garden and read.
I managed to finish my book – ‘The Leaf-cutter Ants’, a brilliant book by Bert Holldobler and Edward O. Wilson. Now I need to find a new book to read!
As the BTO and Bat Conservation News had come through my door just a few days ago, they were my next lot of reading material. Some very interesting articles, though I haven’t read both cover to cover just yet.
It was a pleasant way to while away the wait. The only issue I had with reading outside was my full stops kept getting up and moving round the page!
